Both our physios have completed post-graduate training to be qualified in treating pelvic floor dysfunction. Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy can assist with the following issues:

  • Urinary Incontinence (leakage/ involuntary loss of urine)

  • Urinary Urgency (urgent need to empty the bladder immediately) and Urinary Frequency (need to empty bladder frequently through the day)

  • Faecal incontinence (involuntary loss of bowel motion)

  • Flatus incontinence (involuntary loss of wind)

  • Bowel dysfunction including chronic constipation, sensations of incomplete emptying or pain on defecation

  • Dyspareunia (painful sex) including Vaginismus, Vulvodynia & Vestibulodynia

  • Pain management strategies for those who experience Endometriosis, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), Bladder Pain Syndrome, period pain or other Chronic Pelvic Pain (CPP)

  • Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP) or the sensation of vaginal heaviness, bulging sensation

  • Pregnancy/Antenatal pelvic floor advice

  • Postnatal pelvic floor rehabilitation
